Nathan
Monds and John stalked this same hog for a full two hours. They got
up on him several times only to have him take off and out of site again and
again. When Nathan finally got within 35 yd of him the startled boar turned to stand him off. As Nathan threw up his gun...the boar thought better of it. And as this huge boar wheeled around to run, Nathan made a shot that rolled and downed him. That was really some fine shooting, Nathan, and you got yourself an awesome hog! |
| You can see all of the Monds' fine trophy hogs below (and a few that don't quite make the trophy category), but Ellen's stag hunt just couldn't be ignored here. What a beautiful red deer stag Ellen Monds got. Her shot hit home and the large deer - right out of Robin Hood's woods - fell. Ben was as happy as if he'd taken the shot himself! |

Once the dang tree got out of his way, Nathan aced his shot and got himself this big, burley boar with ivory to spare! Ellen and Ben had as much fun as Nathan did. It was a real pleasure spending the day with y'all! |

| If a family can be more proud of a son, we don't know how. Jonathanhad a great bow hunt and got himself a trophy wild boar that he'll remember for a lifetime - a huge, toothy, mule foot! He's surrounded by brothers Josh, Nathan and Mitchell, and on the right are mom, Ellen, and dad, Ben. |
