Here they are remaining close.  Most fawns bed separately, but these two fawns uncharacteristically have stayed paired.

When the doe fawn ventured away from her twin brother, he would call her to come back.

The little doe seems to be saying to us, "Are YOU my mom?"

The concerned brother is nudging his twin to get away from us.  This is not typical for whitetail fawns.

To the relief of the little buck they toddle off on their unsteady legs looking like a wobbly little old grandma and grandpa.
