WILD BOAR HUNT WITH DOGS

The dogs are bunched up. Something has thrown them off.

Sometimes, if the hog doesn't move for a while, the dogs aren't sure what to do with him. It also gives them a chance to take a breather.
Dogs can effectively bay at a good distance as long as they keep circling or nipping the hog to keep his focus on them.

This hog looks stiffened up like he has just completed a charge, or is about to charge.
Here the dogs are doing a perfect job. They are keeping him rooted on the spot, and they are keeping themselves at a safe distance.
