A MISTY MORNING FALLOW FIGHT
Thank you, George Hitt, for these photos that you took on your Red Deer hunt January 2002!
These two fallow bucks have engaged their antlers.

Their body sizes are equally matched, but the menil colored buck on the right has typical palmated antlers, while the white buck has broken both of his down to stumps.
This white fallow buck has been extremely, almost insanely aggressive, and has attacked most animals on the ranch. That's how he broke his horns.
The menil buck here is out-muscling the white one who is backing up...you can see the menil digging in.
Here the menil is lunging forcefully and the white is crumpling back.

This looks more like a grudge match than friendly sparring...payback time.
